Dr. Brett Johnson is a Fairbanks native who brings the same endurance and commitment to his patients that he carries into the mountains — whether he's skiing, mountain biking, or running 100-mile ultramarathons. He's also the team dentist for the Anchorage Wolverines, a role that reflects how naturally he connects athletics with care. In the chair, Dr. Johnson understands that walking through the door takes courage for a lot of people. He leads with listening — taking time to understand what you actually want, then building a plan around that. His approach is straightforward and unhurried, and he stays current on clinical advancements because his standard for your care doesn't allow for shortcuts. Away from the practice, he's at home with his wife Lexi and their four kids — Evy, Grant, Wells, and Clive — most likely on some kind of adventure. He holds active membership in the American Dental Association® and the Alaska Dental Society. Dr. Johnson is here to help you build a smile you're confident in — and to make the process of getting there feel far less daunting than you might expect.
Dr. Andrea Schiller has called Alaska home for six years — and she's embraced it fully. She and her husband Drew share their life with dogs Abel and Rory, and spend their time traveling, fishing to stock that Alaskan freezer, and exploring the state in their 1988 RV. She grew up in Washington, earned her degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Western Washington University, and completed dental school at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Schiller believes that excellent care never stops evolving — which is why she's committed to continuing education as part of how she shows up for every patient. She takes time to genuinely know the people she treats, building plans around long-term health, function, and a smile worth showing off. She'd be honored to be your dentist at Alaska Smiles.
